Cultural Wax Museum
Join The Children’s Museum and Texas A&M’s MSC L.T. Jordan Institute for International Awareness on April 5th for a Cultural Wax Museum. Explore cultures from around the world by talking to “wax” figures from different places. Children will learn about languages, food, dress, and more from around the world as they visit each “wax” exhibit. The Cultural Wax Exhibit will take place from 10 am – 1 pm and will be included with admission to The Children’s Museum. Don’t miss out on this fun chance to explore the world!
Need something for the kids to do? Visit The Children’s Museum for a FREE ADMISSION DAY on April 26th!!! The Children’s Museum and Texas A&M Spirit Scholars will be hosting our second Energy Day on April 26th from 10 AM – 5 PM. Sponsored by the Texas A&M Spirit Scholars, Museum admission is FREE for everyone and includes not only access to Museum exhibits, but also special science activities conducted by Spirit Scholar Students!
Monthly Art Lessons
The Children’s Museum’s April Art Lesson for kids ages 4-6 at will be held April 26th from 10:30 – 11:30. Join Haley Richardson at the Museum to learn about different artists and art techniques and to make an art project of your own. Art lesson are held every last Saturday of the month from 10:30 – 11:30. Pre-registration is required and only 15 spots are available per lesson! To sign your 4 to 6 year old up for art lessons at The Children’s Museum, please call us at 979-779-KIDS (5437).
The kids are out of school on Good Friday, so bring them to The Children’s Museum! The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley will be open Friday, April 18th from 9 am – 5 pm. Enjoy the holiday by bringing your children to explore, play, and learn. Admission is good all day and is $5 per person, free for children under 1, and $4 for seniors 55 and over. The Children’s Museum will be closed April 19th so come and explore with us April 18th from 9 am to 5 pm. -
