Summer Camps at the Museum
Join The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley for exciting summer camp programs designed to inspire imagination, creativity and fun learning disguised as play. Summer Camp themes for June include: Creative Kids, where your child's inner artist and musician are called out to play; Super Hero, a Zip! Bam! Pow! of a week where your child will learn all about super heroes both imaginary and real as the older campers are visited by a Police Officer; and Super Sleuth Science, where the week begins with the Magic of Science Show and continues with your child using science experiments to solve a museum mystery each day. The Incredible Bubble Show
Everyone is invited to the Children's Museum on June 18th at 11:00 am for The Incredible Bubble Show presented by Linda the Texas Bubblelady! Linda has created a high energy show that combines science, math, critical thinking and lots of soapy fun from bubble making basics to encasing people in a giant soap bubble force field! Everyone will learn how to make bubble solution to create their own dancing bubbles, multiple bubbles or even giant bubbles at home. Monthly Art Lessons
The Museum's June Art Lesson recommended for kids ages 4-6 will be June 28th from 10:30 – 11:30. Join Haley Richardson at the Museum to learn about different artists and art techniques and to make an art project of your own. Art lesson are held every last Saturday of the month from 10:30 – 11:30. Pre-registration is required and only 15 spots are available per lesson! The kids are out of school for the summer, so bring them to The Children’s Museum! The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley has extended hours for the summer, beginning June 2 we will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm. Enjoy the summer but escape the heat by bringing your children to explore, play, and learn. Admission is good all day and is $5 per person, free for children under 1, and $4 for seniors 55 and over.
