The mission of The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley is to provide a child-centered, hands-on, interactive environment for learning and discovery for children.
*Programs are subject to change due to situations beyond our control.
**Programs take place at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Programs take place at 11:30 am each Wednesday and Friday.
*** Reading Rocks will occur at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Reading Rocks will occur at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm each Wednesday and Friday.
May Program Descriptions
Children will make their own caterpillars out of the letters in their name.
We will use teamwork to make a cool marble track out of recycled materials.
Kool Aid Watercolor
We will use this household item to create beautiful art.
Fruit Loop Rainbow
Use Fruit Loops to make a rainbow... or use your imagination to make your own creation!
You will pucker up for this cute craft!
Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate with the Children's Museum! We will learn about Mexican culture and the history of the holiday.
On May 8th and 9th kids can come in and make something special for Mother's Day!
