The mission of The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley is to provide a child-centered, hands-on, interactive environment for learning and discovery for children.
- It costs the museum $25,000 every month just to be here and open our doors
- During our slowest month of the year, we need $20,000 of that cost to be made up by our donors
- During our busiest month of the year, we need $5,000 of that cost to be made up by our donors
The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The primary responsibilities of the CMBV Board of Directors are to ensure that the museum successfully fulfills its mission and to serve as an advocate for the museum in the local community. The CMBV Board of Directors meets monthly and participates in an annual board retreat.
